Today, Emily from the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis shows us how to get romantic curls using a curling rod. This style is great for the every day and to add a romantic look to an evening out. Below are the steps to using the curling rod.
Steps to Using a Curling Rod:
- Brush hair thoroughly.
- Section off hair according to thickness and length.
- Spritz the first section with Aveda’s Air Control Hairspray and brush out.
- To begin, take a small piece of the current section of hair, and with the curling rod pointing down, gently twirl the hair around the rod, working away from the face.
- Repeat over all sections until complete.
